  For an overview of the transfer of credential process, please CLICK HERE. Be sure to familiarize yourself with this process before submitting an application!
  
  To apply for a transfer of credential, please complete the following application in full and email the requested documents to credentialing@wildfig.org.
  
  As a network committed to moving at the speed of trust, and one that runs primarily on volunteer hours, please be patient with our response times.
  
  Please note: Participation in a cohort is a requirement for anyone holding a Wild Fig Credential.
- Educational Background
- Please describe your theological education and/or equivalent preparation for ministry.
- Please describe any ethical and professional trainings you've completed as part of your formation for ministry.
- Care & Accountability Practices
- Please provide a narrative description of your current practices for maintaining emotional and spiritual health as well as an overview of the key relationships you rely upon for support and accountability in your vocation (e.g. journaling, Sabbath-keeping, meeting with a spiritual director, therapy, supervisory relationships, etc.)
- Prior or Existing Credential
- Please indicate what credential you held, the dates you held it, what ecclesial body granted you the credential (include their website if possible), and briefly describe the nature of this credential. (if you've held multiple credentials, list them starting with the most recent)
- In the case that you resigned your credential, or it was removed, as a matter of conscience or disagreement with your ecclesial body, please explain.
- Statement of Intention
- A narrative describing your relationship with the ecclesial body that granted your current (prior) credential and a reflection upon the question, “Why do you now desire a Wild Fig credential?”

- Please upload the following documents in the "File Upload" area below. Include your name in the title of each file.:
  - CV or RESUME that includes a summary of relevant ministry and work experience
  - PROOF OF CREDENTIAL from a recognized ecclesial body. By “recognized ecclesial body,” we mean a legally incorporated religious organization (a local church, denomination, or church network) that involves some gathering with, and relationship among, other people (so excludes an online credential). This can be in the form of an ordination certificate, a record from a denominational yearbook, or a letter from an ecclesial body.
  - LETTER OF SUPPORT provided by a recent church, organization, or community the candidate has served (typically from a board member or senior leader, on formal letterhead). This letter must detail:
    1. The reason the community supports the candidate’s pursuit of a Wild Fig credential.
    2. The church or organization’s current accountability structure as it relates to the candidate (For example, if you are a lead pastor or executive director, is there a board you report to? Is there a review process? etc.)

  - After reviewing your application, a credentialing committee will contact you via email within 3-4 weeks with a determination about whether you're invited to the next stage of the process, which includes background checks and a professional safety questionnaire.
